Aloha and welcome to Pink Plumeria Maui! I’m so excited to share with you my crochet and knitting patterns.
I was born and raised submersed in crafts. My childhood was filled with fabric stores, quilt stores, gem shows, pow wows, art shows, flea markets, antique stores, and so much more.
My mother taught me to sew at the age of 5 and I started quilting soon after. My dad was a carpenter and taught me to build, create and use tools. Textiles and nature were a blueprint of my childhood.
In my mid 20’s I moved to Maui. Living by the ocean ignited a creative passion in me. When I started having children I found myself creating again. From cooking, sewing to do it yourself projects.
In April of 2014 my mother was visiting shortly after the birth of my third son. I begged for her to teach me to crochet. She did and fireworks exploded in my brain! I taught myself to knit in November of 2018. Knitting has ignited a new passion of creativity.
I love designing patterns and I am passionate about making my patterns functional.
