Welcome to the Beyond Easy Triangle Scarf, a Tunisian crochet pattern. I’ve been wanting to test out my new Clover Takumi Bamboo Tunisian Interchangeable Crochet Hooks and so I pulled out my LB Collection Merino Silk Cotton yarn and started working on a Beyond Easy Triangle Scarf. The use of this yarn and Tunisian crochet creates a soft yet warm and functional scarf. I used color changes but it’s not necessary. You can use a single color or you can color change through the entire scarf. I used 3 colors in this scarf and if you’re new to Tunisian Crochet this is a fun repetitive and easy project.
I’ve included how to make this pattern with Light or DK, weight #3 yarn and Worsted, weight #4 yarn so you can use alternative weights of yarn. Simple knowledge of Tunisian crochet is needed. Some very helpful tips with Tunisian crochet are training yourself to crochet more loosely and blocking your scarf will help with its final shape. When you create a color fade using Tunisian crochet you will change colors on the return pass. Complete a forward pass, change colors and return pass. Repeating this process creates a fade of colors that can be done intermittently throughout the entire pattern.
I hope you love this this fun and quick pattern! Please share with me on social media. You can follow me on Instagram HERE and on Facebook HERE! Tag me @pinkplumeriamaui and use #pinkplumeriamaui.
