Materials:
- H/5.0 mm Hook
- Worsted Weight #6
- Tapestry Needle
Yards/Ounces: I used 1.3 oz/69 yards or 37.4 g/63.4 m of medium worsted weight yarn in white, off white and soft greeen.
Skill Level: Beginner
Size: 8 x 8 square.
Gauge: 4 x 4 inches = 12 stitches x 4 rows of pattern.
Dimensions: 8 x 8 inches
Abbreviations:
ch = chain
hdc = half double crochet
bo = bobble stitch
Pattern:
You will turn your work at the end of each row. Chain doesn’t count as a stitch.
Row 1. Ch 31, hdc in 2nd ch from hook and hdc in remaining chains. Turn work. (30 hdc)
Row 2: Ch 2, hdc in each stitch in the row. Turn work. (30 hdc)
Row 3: Ch 2, hdc, hdc, bo, hdc 4. Repeat *bo, hdc 4* 4 times. End with with bo, hdc 2. Turn work. (30 stitches)
Row 4 – 5: Repeat Row 2.
Change Colors
Row 6: Repeat Row 2.
Row 7: Repeat Row 3.
Row 8 – 9: Repeat Row 2.
Change Color
Row 10: Repeat Row 2.
Row 11: Repeat Row 3.
Row 12 – 13: Repeat Row 2.
Change Color
Row 14: Repeat Row 2.
Row 15: Repeat Row 3
Row 16 –17: Repeat Row 2.
Change Color
Row 18: Repeat Row 2.
Row 19: Repeat Row 3
Row 20 – 22: Repeat Row 2.
Leave a tail to sew in and fasten off.
