Would you like to have a Crocheted Cactus in a Mini Pot? You do not have a green thumb so a mini cactus would make a cute addition to your home. This Free Crochet Cactus for a Mini Pot is easy and fun to make. These are excellent gifts for friends or family.
The version I made is for a 2.5 inch and 2 inch mini pots. I found my mini pots at Walmart in the garden section for under a dollar. I used cotton yarn however you can use a variety of yarns. Acrylic and wool would work nicely too. When you stitch it all up you just want it to sit nicely in your pot. Also you want your last row to be a behind the post single crochet stitch. This will allow for cactus to look clean and symmetrical.

Sew one end together by sewing in a straight stitch through edges and pull. It will bunch of edges and draw them together.
Take polyfill and stuff your little cactus to your liking. I like mine a little firm so I put a little extra stuffing.

Mini Pom Pom
I used my fingers to make a mini pom pom. I wrapped yarn around 3 fingers for length and wrapped to thickness I desired. Cut a piece 8 inches and tightly secured around center of yarn, knotted cut ends and trimmed. If you need video in notes section will help too.
