I was honored to be a Guest Designer for Joy of Motion Blog. Janne has always been a follow blogger I have admired. I have followed her on Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram since I started crocheting. She has beautiful patterns and offers a wide variety of sizes.
I designed the Step Into Spring Set as fun and versatile pattern. This pattern includes a matching cowl and wrist warmers. I used Lion Brand’s Comfy Cotton Blend because it is 50% cotton and 50% Polyester. It is a soft yet durable yarn. I wanted to give an introduction into using the corner to corner crochet technique for items that can be worn.
Being a guest designer was a great experience for me as it pushed me to design a pattern but also take some high quality photos. I was excited to find a beach location that embodied my inspiration for this design and take some gorgeous photos. With the help of my oldest son, he gets to push to button while the camera is on a tripod, I captured these photos.
