Simple Granny Square Blanket

Posted: October 30, 2020 by admin

Welcome to Crochet Pattern for the Simple Granny Square Blanket! Raise your hand if you love granny squares!! I got both my hands waving in the air because I love a relaxing and rhythmic crochet pattern that works up quickly. Everyone has their take on how to make a granny square and/or granny square blanket and this is mine. I like a tighter square that creates a fabric that is warm but also breathes a little. I used a join as you go method for joining the squares so there’s no seaming only joining. When WeCrochet sent me a Brava Mini Pack I knew I wanted to make a blanket using all the beautiful colors. The Brava Mini Pack includes Brava Worsted Yarn which is beautiful to work with.

This pattern is written for a baby size blanket but you can easily add as many squares as you would like to make a variety of sizes. Just follow the join as you go section for easily joining your blanket.

I hope you love this fun and quick pattern! Please share with me on social media. You can follow me on Instagram HERE and on Facebook HERE! Tag me @pinkplumeriamaui and use #pinkplumeriamaui.
