Winter Swell Blanket

Posted: December 16, 2020 by admin

Welcome to the Winter Swell Blanket crochet pattern! This is a collaboration with Clover USA and I’m always so honored to be a guest designer on their blog. The Winter Swell Blanket is a crochet pattern for all skill levels and is a great stash buster for bulky yarn. I had a bin of Red Heart Hygge Yarn that needed to be used so I designed this super cozy blanket. I used 19 balls of Red Heart Hygge Yarn but you can use most bulky weight yarn as well substitute with 1 strand of super bulky yarn.
I used my favorite hook in this pattern, Clover Amour L (8mm) Hook. The Winter Swell Blanket is sized as an afghan/throw and will be a semi-weighted blanket for extra coziness. This blanket has been a huge success in my house as my kids really enjoy weighted blankets for extra comfort.
I hope you love this fun and quick pattern! Please share with me on social media. You can follow me on Instagram HERE and on Facebook HERE! Tag me @pinkplumeriamaui and use #pinkplumeriamaui.
